Ysgol Gymraeg Blaendulais is a Welsh Medium school for pupils aged between 3 and 11. We have approximately 130 pupils who join us from the villages of Dyffryn Cellwen, Onllwyn, Pantyffordd, Seven Sisters and Crynant.
Ysgol Gymraeg Blaendulais is a secure, caring community that affords each child the opportunity to achieve their full potential and become a valuable member of society.
The school, which was opened in 1961, is a primary school offering mixed age, mixed ability classes. Ysgol Gymraeg Blaendulais prides itself on good team work and strong links with the community. Social, cultural and moral development plays an important part in school life.
Numerous extra-curricular activities are held after school in our Urdd Club e.g. disco dancing, folk dancing and choir. Other after school activities include rugby and a care club facility is also provided. Pupils usually join us after attending Cylch Meithrin Blaendulais which accepts children from 2 years onwards.
Ysgol Gymraeg Blaendulais has a dedicated and proud staff of teachers, teaching assistants and administrative assistants. We hope that children, parents, staff and governors will work together to create a happy, productive, stimulating school.
